Judi Del Ponte - Singer

My music career started in Lake Havasu City but it wasn't until I met Mike Del Ponte and the band Fortune that music became my life.

I was fortunate to be able to play music full time, traveling and performing in great places like Sir Francis Drake in San Francisco, Harrah's and Ceasars in Lake Tahoe, and resorts in the Phoenix area.

Mike and I took a break from the band scene to raise our son, Geno. Later we seperated and I took up a career in marketing.

I recently moved to Sierra Vista, and was able to go back to my first two loves - music and Mike Del Ponte. Singing with the Thunder Mountain Band has been great fun after taking a break. We play an exciting variety of music and it's so wonderful to be entertaining again.

Ben Caron

Ben Caron - Keyboards/vocals

At the age of 4 Ben starting plunking tunes out on any piano or organ available, he was 12 when he started taking lessons. His teacher died after just a few lessons, so lessons were put off again until he was 16, when he tried one more time. He was offered a piano solo with the local symphony, and he has been playing ever since.

Next, Ben was the accompanist at the Bisbee Repertory Company, Then it was off to New York to attend the American Music & Dramatic Academy. While there Ben played with the Chan Caron Band. It was also in New York that Ben composed his first musical, "The Fisherman's Clever Daughter" which was produced and performed in Sierra Vista.

Recently, Ben worked as an actor at the OK Corral playing a gunfighter. Currently Ben and his brother play in an old-tyme music act The Frytown Toughs. Now Ben plays and sings in Thunder Mountain.

All of Ben's performances are dedicated to his family and friends, living and gone.
